Help :: Managing Profiles Topics

Managing
If you have multiple computers, such as a desktop and a laptop or a Windows computer and Linux computer, then you can configure multiple CGA profiles simply by clicking the Manage link next to Profiles in the account information window at the top right of the site.

You will be presented with a list of the profiles you have configured. New accounts will have a default profile named My Computer. It can be renamed to whatever you want it to be. To add a new profile simply click the Add link. You will be presented with a screen where you can enter the name of your new profile and the UDP Port that will be used if you set up a peer-to-peer game room. The default port is 213. Click the Save button to save the new profile and return to your profile list.

If you want to delete a profile click the Delete link to the right of its name. To edit use the Edit link.

Activating
To activate a profile simply select the profile you want to activate from the drop down box in the account information window at the top right of the site under Profiles. Your DOSBox and game configurations will be saved under the active profile. When viewing/entering game rooms it will be based on your active profile so if you have the same games on multiple machines they will need to be configured for each profile.
